Karen A. Colucci Pelletier is a senior attorney at Bellotti Law Group. Having practiced law for over 20 years, Karen oversees a diverse practice but concentrates primarily on business litigation, white-collar defense and general litigation. A former Middlesex assistant district attorney, she joined the firm in 1999, and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and the federal District of Massachusetts.

As one of the firm's top trial lawyers, Karen's familiarity with litigation and civil practice allows her to serve in an advisory capacity to individuals who may be anticipating issues or problems related to their businesses. Her experience allows her to provide considerable insights into the potential hurdles and solutions of a particular situation. This quality is particularly appreciated by her clients.

Given her background as a prosecutor, she also oversees white-collar and serious criminal defense cases with managing partner Peter Bellotti. Prior to joining the firm, Karen headed the Office of Asset Forfeiture while working for the Middlesex District Attorney. She also worked as the Newton District Court supervisor, overseeing a staff of prosecutors.

In 20 years of practicing law, Karen has appeared in courts throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island and the Suffolk University Law School, Karen has provided legal commentary for Channel 56 and cable television's Tru TV. She resides in the suburban Boston area with her family.
