Karen Piso Nadeau is a senior attorney at Bellotti Law Group. With 17 years experience, Karen concentrates her practice primarily in the area of serious personal injury. She joined the firm in 2001 and quickly developed the reputation as one of the firm's most hardworking and tenacious attorneys. Karen is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
A highly-respected trial attorney, Karen oversees the firm's personal injury practice with managing partner Peter Bellotti and attorney Leslie Harkavy. During her career she has worked on countless cases, including those that resulted in multi-million-dollar settlements. In addition to handling cases involving car accidents, so-called slip-and-falls and general liability, Karen has enjoyed considerable success working in the more complex areas of medical malpractice, lead poisoning and dog-bite litigation.
Karen also assists working families and union members with third-party claims resulting from construction site accidents and other work-related injuries. She has enjoyed success consulting with investigators, economists and vocational rehabilitation specialists to ensure the very best potential for compensation for a worker's injuries. As a mother, she is also very comfortable working with children and their parents on cases involving injuries to young people.
Prior to 2001, she refined her skills as a courtroom attorney, handling personal injury cases and practicing family law. Experience as both plaintiff and defense counsel enables Karen to anticipate many arguments and strategies common to tort cases, and respond accordingly.
Karen is a lifelong Massachusetts resident and a cum laude graduate of both Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. She lives in the suburban Boston area with her family.
